A great introduction to TEFL
Harmer's book is a fantastic introduction to the world of teaching English as a foreign language. It is the first book that I read when I was doing my initial teaching certificate and have since purchased numerous copies to give as gifts. I have two copies myself - one at work and one at home so that I can consult it whenever I need.
If you are thinking about doing a CELTA or similar course, or you are a teacher, this is the first book you should buy. by David Harbinson
