This is a great gift for your friendly pool shark, or just about anybody, actually. Presented in book form, this actually consists of a complete pool table (with a very nice finish) which is built into the inside "front cover", and a booklet detailing 40 games (some created specifically for this book) which slips into a pocket in the inside "back cover".

The explanations are clear enough, the game variants are most interesting, and the fun you'll get out of this product is out of proportion to the game's diminutive size.

My one complaint is the manufacturing: the book itself does not slip easily into its pocket, and it was accidentally glued to the back cover: getting it out ripped about two square inches of the paper backing of the "back cover".

But all in all, this is a very nice game product, one which I'm sure you'll enjoy.
