Fantastic book
This is a fantastic book which guides you from the beginning to the very end of your cake making process. The best part of the book are the templates at the back of the book. You just photocopy them, enlarge them and then use them to cut out your cake pieces so you can easily make novelty cakes. by Annie Lin
A stunning investment!
PLANET CAKE is beautifully presented and well worth the investment for anyone interested in cake decorating or just simply wanting to produce a special one-off cake. The key to this book is the modern feel that other cake decorating books lack; the variety of designs are stunning, inspiring and, surprisingly, easy to achieve. I was particularly impressed by the cake recipes included that aren't overly complicated and provide a perfect platform for the icing. Being a novice, I was thrilled to see that the first cake I made and decorated using PLANET CAKE turned out simply wonderful and this is a credit to the author! A Must Have
This is a brilliant cake decorating book starting at the very beginning but also catering for the more experienced cake decorator. It is not a traditional cake decorating book but a lot more modern and takes you step by step on how to make these fantastic and original cakes. This book will give you a fantastic grounding on how to get a professional looking cake. It covers recipes, ganache, tools, trouble shooting and detailed decorating instructions. The recipes are delicious and with the step by step instructions you are bound to make someones special occasion even more so with one of these amazing cakes.
