Reviews for Pierre Bourdieu
Best Bourdieu Beginners Book
This book takes Bourdieu's super complicated writings/concepts and puts them a logical, easy to understand format. Rather like a dummies guide - very well written (especial the Maton chapter). I am so glad this book exists.
A keeper for the scholar and highly recommended to anyone trying to teach Bourdieu - please don't torture your students by giving them Bourdieu on day one, give them this book to start!
My only complaint is that when my copy arrived today, it smelt like salmon... huh? by SashaCat
