Oh My Books! Review
The Perfect Hope is the final book of the Inn BoonsBoro trilogy. This time it's Ryder and Hope's love story, although I can't say it was the most romantic.
Hope is kinds of perfect. She does her work, likes it and wants to give the best of her. But for some reason Ryder never liked her. Since the day she arrived, he was rude and sometimes mean. But there is a spark between them.
I liked Hope. I could relate to her because she wants to do everything right, and people like Ryder thinks she's perfect. She's not, but she's a great manager. Ryder is tough and surly, he just don't do well people. But he likes Hope and apparently the Inn's ghost think they should give themselves a chance.
What I didn't like was that their relationship seemed so planned. They were slow and overthought everything, even a little kiss!! It wasn't a -I cant help but fall in love- romance, it was very 'responsible' and every detail was thought in advance. That's why I didn't love them, because I think love can't be planned, you don't usually say I'm falling in love because when you realize it, you are already in love! Well, that's what I think...
The family was always around and watching too. Don't get me wrong, I love the Montgomery but maybe they should have give them some space, not everyone needed to know they were having sex!
Overall, I still liked The Perfect Hope. As the other books in the series, I liked the family feeling and the characters, but I thought Ryder and Hope could have been more passionate. Still, I recommend the Inn BoonsBoro trilogy, it's great for those days when you just want to read something light and sweet. by Maria Guajardo (GABY)under review Major love!
The title says it all. I absolutely adore this book of the whole series. Super heartwarming and it got me smiling and going, "awwwww!" for the most part :) by Emily
