Karl F. B. Payne works as a clinical fellow in oral and maxillofacial surgery at King's College Hospital in London. He founded the online, open-access trainee journal "Face Mouth & Jaw Surgery." Alexander M. C. Goodson works as a clinical fellow at King's College Hospital. He is the founder of King's Maxillofacial Seminars, a regional teaching program aiming to prepare junior surgeons for entry into specialty training programs. Arpan S. Tahim works as a clinical fellow at King's College Hospital. He has taught on numerous courses aimed at enhancing surgical skills in medical students and junior doctors, and has set up regional teaching programs and online learning resources for junior oral and maxillofacial trainees. Nabeela Ahmed is a registrar training in London and works at King's College Hospital. Kathleen Fan is a consultant in oral and maxillofacial surgery at King's College Hospital. She is also an honorary senior lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at King's College London and is a PhD supervisor, coordinating research within the oral and maxillofacial surgery department of King's College Hospital. Professor Mark McGurk is the chair of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Guy's Hospital. He has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals that include his own surgical results and has edited five major texts. He is a past president of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the board of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, and is chairman of the High Claims Committee of Dental Protection Limited.
