I don't know why this book had such a low review, I bake 11 recipes out of this book and I can say that all the recipes came out fine and it taste really great! They even explain how you can make things from scratch! (like azuki bean paste).

Alright I must say this book is not for someone who just started to bake. You need a lot of patience and figure out where you get some of the japanese ingredients: Kinako, Azuki beans or green power tea. But there are also recipe that have the standard ingredients. Also it is not 100% japanese because the author is inspired by the french kitchen. And off course it must suit your taste, if you don't like green tea, sesam, sojabeans then you have less to choose of. (yes the liquid thing are in grams but 60 gram of water is 60 ml so there should be no problem with this)

But if you have the right ingredients and read through the recipe before you start then there must have been no problem.

I can proudly say that these recipe in the book are not bad:
- Ice cream (green and sesam)
- Green tea souffle swiss roll
- Green tea,back sesam and soy bean Chiffon cake
- green tea tiramisu
- dark brown sugar swiss roll
- Sesam cookies
- Banana caramel swiss roll
- Chocolate cake
- Super vanilla cheesecake (IS THE BEST)
- Almond snow balls

This book has all the wrong measurements. As an avid baker i wanted to try some new recipes however all the liquid measurements are in grams and not ml. Not a single recipe came out good. Will write a complaint and get my money back.
