This A2-Level Chemistry Study Guide is jam-packed with relevant knowledge that students need to know for exams but it set out in an easy-to-understand and clear way.
Illustrations and the colourful prints really help us students to revise easily without being bored to death reading paragraphs on end.
As well as this, there are summary questions on EVERY page of this book, so as you read through a page, you can answer the questions linked to what you've just read. Also, this book is split up into Units, and then sub divided further into Modules - and at the end of each and every module there is a page of dedicated questions, with further pages of real exam questions (don't worry, there's answers in the back!)
This book should not be used to learn yourself some of the details in A2 Chemistry. This sort of book needs some kind of pre-teaching from a lecturer as you will not understand and figure it all out yourself.
Overall, Exam Board OCR have really done well with this book, making it easy to read and understand on some levels. The pictures and definition boxes really break up the long-winded text that students don't want to read. Along with questions and exam tips, this book is a MUST-BUY for all potential chemists studying A2-Level Chemistry.
