anna cooke I got these for my little boy when he was about 1 and a half. There are 6 small books in a cardboard case each featuring a different character from In the Night Garden. The stories are pretty nonsensical but appeal to young children who seem drawn to the show (both my children really enjoy this show, it grabs their attention.) The little library format is also a lot of fun for the young toddlers who enjoy taking them out of the box, putting them back in again, putting them in a pile, just playing with the books. It also has a puzzle picture on the back if you lay all 6 out backwards on the floor or table. Because of the small size it is easy to take them out and about, one of my friends got this set to take out on plane journeys to entertain her toddler. This kind of thing is handy to have in your bag in lots of situations when out and about.
After some use the cardboard box did suffer quite a bit from wear and tear, but for the money I would say the set is pretty good. by anna cooke
