One of the best fantasy books i've ever read! Definitely a book that stands strong between J.J.R. Tolkien, Robert Jordan and J.K. Rowling. Highly recommended!

By far my favourite book I've read. If your into fantasy this is a must read!

Finally a solid fantasy novel. Patrick Rothfuss has all the necessary elements of an excellent story teller. I can only hope the following books in the series will be half as good

By Stephanie Vandenbroucke 25 Nov 2013 5

I've never read anything like this! Patrick's style of writing is wholly unprecedented in my experience. Definitely read this book if you like fantasy, magic, mystery,... While reading, the taleteller keeps you fascinated by keeping you in the dark on the whole, but shedding just a bit of light on part of the puzzle at exactly the right times. It's tragic, funny, horrifying, touching and fascinating at the same time.
