Product description

This is a bedtime story of a little boy who refuses to go to sleep. It is Mortimer's bedtime, but he would much rather sing his rowdy song. Mum, Dad and even the police can't get him to quieten down, until they become so distracted by each other that Mortimer drifts off to sleep. The story reads as though it was written by a parent driven frantic by one of the contemporary but compulsive stages of childrearing...It is of tremendous appeal to kids and parents at the same stage.

[It] reads as though it was written by a parent driven frantic by one of the contemporary but compulsive stages of childrearing ... [It is] of tremendous appeal to kids and parents at the same stage.
