More than Hope - a light at the end of the tunnel.
I am so pleased that parents of newly diagnosed children on the autism spectrum have access to this book, to gain the understanding and hope that it offers in such a reader- friendly way. The knowledge that they are not agonising alone with the terror of this problem, but that there are many parents experiencing the same feelings. With Dr. Paparella carefully guiding them through the different steps, there is a way through it all, a light at the end of the tunnel to work towards. It is written in laymen's term, with no incomprehensible medical terminology and the empathy which Dr. Paparella displays shows real understanding and years of experience in dealing with the families and children with this condition. It is the next best thing to sitting in front of her. I highly recommended it to all parents dealing with autistic children, no matter the stage. It is not a heavy book, the print quality is good, easy to hold, read and understand, and able to be picked up as a quick reference when needed, small enough to fit in a handbag or read in bed by Denise Grubb
