Snarky, Unique Story, Even Better Than The 1st4

Jessica First up, full disclosure: I'm a new nurse and I love reading paranormal tales, so that might make me a sucker for this series. Do you need to be a nurse to enjoy the series? Nope, but it sure doesn't hurt.

Moonshifted is the second book in the Edie Spence series and it's even better than the first. There was more action, more snarkiness, and even more sexiness in this one. Edie's coworkers at the hospital are all interesting characters on their own, and they are the humans. Then enter all the different paranormal creatures: vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, shadowy-things, and yeah - it get's even more interesting.

The story itself is unique, I haven't read a tale like this before and I can't figure out why. It all makes sense that the paranormal need a place to heal as well, it makes sense as to why the employees would work there. It just never occurred to anyone else before and Cassie Alexander was the one to figure out to put it all down on paper. I can't wait to read more from Alexander and more about Edie Spence.
