Top line page turner
Larry does not disappoint yet again. Earl the leader of the Monster Hunters is the protagonist in this the 3rd book in the series. These books are up there with Jim Butcher's Dresden series and Mike Carey's excellent series. The action has a heavy gun oriented flavour and the series generally has a nice fit if you are a military sci fi leaning and like to see the bad guys get blown into gibbets of steaming flesh. With the good guys periodically meeting the same fate it keeps you on the edge through the novel. Superb by Kimball Miles
