Leading psychologists Susan M. Orsillo and Lizabeth Roemer present a powerful new alternative that can help you break free of anxiety by fundamentally changing how you relate to it. With clarity and compassion, this book describes clinically tested mindfulness practices specifically tailored for anxiety in its many forms. Customer reviews

the best thing about this book is its cover

The author has no conception of how difficult it is for a severe anxiety sufferer to take in any new information. The book is wordy and full of stories about clients and their anxiety. The writing style is academic and boring and does nothing to enthuse your tired brain or to help you feel there is a positive answer in there somewhere. Please - our brains are exhausted and we are unable to take in anything other than short simple helpful advice told in positive non jargon like terms.show more
