Pip Lincolne grew up in a DIY family. Her dad sewed her lovely dresses; her mum made her orange sorbet; her brother fashioned little houses for her dolls; her sister drew and her nanna knitted, sewed, baked ... you name it! Raised on such handmade fare, there was never any doubt that a crafty life lay ahead. Pip lives above her popular craft store Meet Me at Mikes, in Melbourne's Fitzroy, with her lovely family. She runs Brown Owls - a new-fangled craft club for crafters of all ages and makes things every single day. She will be a writer when she grows up.

Meet me at Mike's gives its readers the opportunity to create super cute projects at a beginner level. But even as a more experienced craft person I had great satisfaction in creating some of the projects!
It has a great range of craft projects ranging from paper flowers, felt brooches to sewing comfortable baby pants.
The projects have clear instructions and are all relativity simple and straight forward but with gorgeous results.
The imagery in this book is beautiful and inspiring, just the recipe to further inspire readers to get into the projects!
Meet me at Mike's would be a wonderful addition to any crafters library, for those more experienced it gives the opportunity to learn new skills or complete quick projects to give as gifts.
For less experienced crafters or beginners it gives the opportunity to create stylish and cute things for themselves, their homes and children.
I love this book!
"crafters who enjoy this aesthetic will find the book a pleasing addition to their collections."--Library Journal
