This 50th Anniversary Edition of LOTR is amazing. The red hardback cover with the golden text is gorgeous, and the condition of the book is perfect.
The quality of the print is very good and the depth of the paper is higher of most lotr edition. This book contains the leaves of the Marzabul pages, the maps of Gondor and the Middle-Earth.
The book although it is compound by three books, it isn't very heavy, and is quite comfortable to bring it out.
This edition is my first in english, and i'm very proud of this, and also Book Depository is a good service, and it is my new english online bookshop.
I can't not recommend this edition for everyone because the quality is high and the price is very low.

First time using Book Depository, and couldn't be happier! Was recommended to me by a friend, and have to say, the free worldwide delivery was a huge attraction! Was warned that it can take quite a while for delivery, however I was pleasantly surprised- the book came within a couple of weeks.
The book was in absolutely perfect condition.
This edition of Lord of The Rings is gorgeous- the dust jacket has more of a matt paper finish than the more glossy type of paper, with a deep red cloth binding. The two fold out maps are fantastic quality and so detailed- and comes with a fold out photo page of the book of mazarbul.
Also- its VERY heavy!! But wonderfully thick, which is never a bad thing :)
Would recommend this to any LOTR fan, or anyone who appreciates a beautifully bound book :)
