DescriptionIn the end, all that's left is an echo. Violet Ambrose always thought of her ability to sense the dead as more of a burden than a gift. Now that she's working with a special investigative team, she hopes she can use it to help people. But her instant connection with her mysterious partner, Rafe, is both confusing and unsettling, and creates tension with her boyfriend, Jay. When she discovers the body of a college student murdered by "the collector," Violet refuses to give up on the case. What Violet doesn't realize is that the serial killer is looking to add to his collection, and she may have caught his eye. Will the life Violet has to save be her own?

The Last Echo!
Favourite Quote: â??Hate and anger are tough emotions to hang on to. Theyâ??ll eat you up.â??
I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great installment to the series! I definitely liked this more than the second book but still not as much as the first book! I give this a 4/5 stars!
Letâ??s start with the plot, the serial killer aspect was awesome! It was creepy and getting inside this killers head was horrible but intriguing as his mind set was completely different to the killers in the first two books! The author has definitely done her research! As for the sub-plots, I wasnâ??t a fan of the love triangle that is forming and that was part of the reason I took a star off! The other sub-plot of the agency Violet worked for is very interesting and the ending was very good in regard to that! In the next book Iâ??m sure this plot will be developed much further!
As for the characters I liked Violet much more in this one than in the second book! Thank god, I was worried i was going to hate her! In this book she was stronger than ever, and I admired her a lot throughout this! Then thereâ??s Jay who I feel is disappearing! Compared to his presence in the first book, he was hardly in this one at all! He was my favourite character, so of course this upsets me and is another reason I took a star off! Then thereâ??s Violetâ??s agency team, all of whom were okay, they werenâ??t developed much apart from Rafe who was just okay as well!
Overall I did enjoy this novel a lot and Iâ??m excited to read the next one! by Moodyno1
