I bought this book for my 8 year old son. It has been looked at almost daily since it's purchase several months ago and lego is being played with in our home in new and exciting ways. I am so glad we got this. It has really helped to fire my sons imagination.

I think this is the same book I bought for my grandson. I did flick through it (in Canberra) and thought the pictures were beautiful. My grandson thought it was out of this world!
He can now start collecting the pieces (indicated in the book) to copy some Lego airplanes, etc etc, then, he will make his own space ships, houses, viking boats, etc. I thought that, that was the aim of the book!
Wasn't it??????????? Anyway, I will get the next one from BDepository. Much cheaper.

I bought this book thinking it would actually show how to make the 'ideas', however it does not, and as it was a gift for my five year old grandson for Xmas, I feel that now I will have to look for something else.
I guess, nothing actually beats being able to flick through a book and then come to a decision as to whether it is suitable.
