I had already quit sugar when I bought this book, but I have found it a valuable resource and cookbook.

Our society is sugar saturated, so eliminating sugar (or the real culprit, fructose) is quite a challenge. It involves thinking outside the box in terms of the food that you cook, and how you prepare it. I like the fact that Ms Wilson is honest about the challenges posed by being fructose-free, the strategies that she suggests and her emphasis on nutrition. I have tried several of the recipes and particularly love her Cheesy Green MishMash Soup! Yum!!!

I am no foodie, and don't really love cooking, so I appreciate the fact that her recipes are tasty but straightforward. You WILL need to get to know your local Health Food store, as a number of ingredients aren't available in your local supermarket, but I have found this to be a helpful book with good recipes. Definitely worth checking out!
