    Emmaline Troy the Timid is just that; she is an innocent half Valkyrie and Vampire . When she leaves the protection of her Valkyrie guardian and sisters to Paris in pursuit to uncover information on her deceased parents little did she expect to be captured by a mad lykae with mood swings. One minute he seems ready to kill her and the next he wants to protect her. What does he want with her? Emma is then forced to make a deal with the Lykae to help him return to his home in Scotland as she begins to discover the Vampire and Valkyrie in her.

    This is one of the best paranormal romance I've read. The plot was great and the main characters were played out very well. Lachlain is caring and possessive and also complicated due to his mental and physical torture whereas Emma is Timid, weak and sassy but goes on to discover more of her personality as the story grows. Emma's character development was very interesting. All the secondary characters were equally intriguing. I am definitely hungry for more ;) by Syamanthra
