I had high expectations of this book because my friends read it and were delighted but had the opposite effect on me. I wonâ??t say that I hate it but certainly didnâ??t love it. For me, it could be better written and have a better storyteller. Also, it could be a single book and nobody would have noticed, especially because the characters are not consistent almost to the end of the second book. I think the Hunger Games will go down as one of those must-read books young people a 100 years from now will be assigned in school. It's more than just an action novel for teens. It has some very serious messages about society and dictatorships and how people treat each other. A real winner all the way round!show more

After I heard many people talking about it I decided to read the Hunger Games and I was only upset that I didn't read it sooner. It's a journey fulled with action, drama, romance, friendship... Until now, it the best dystopia book I've read! -- If you're interested in purchasing this book, please use my Book Depository Affiliate link: Thank you! :)show more
