This is one of the BEST audio book series I have ever listened to. I can not imagine anyone better than Rob Inglis to do the story justice. He sings all the songs and puts life into each character so when it is their turn in the story you know exactly who he is! I could not recommend this enough to anyone who loves audio books or The Lord of the Rings/Hobbit or just Tolkien in general.

100 stars out of 10.

Oh yes' Evening Standard An astonishing imaginative tour de force' Daily Telegraph 'A story magnificently told' New Statesman 'Tolkien was a storyteller of genius' Literary Review 'Amongst the greatest works of imaginative fiction of the twentieth century' Sunday Telegraph
