Reviews for Hitler, 1889-1936
How to mislead yourself and your country!
Before reading this book I found it difficult to imagine how such a despicable charachter could secure absolute power and control over a country rich with thinkers, artist and international statesmen. However, the author sets out with impressive research and perceptive analysis the creeping destiny of one man and his ever growing grip on Germany. I found the constant use of german phrases over done and they iterrupted my reading without adding anything. However, that is a minor niggle about an impressive and revealing book. Now on to the sequel. by Roger Manley
