Product description

Part of the magic began the day Harry Potter obtained his wand from Ollivander's shop for his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With an assemble-your-own wand, inspired by the famous boy wizard's, and the book of eight stickers following brave Harry through his daring adventures, anyone can use his or her imagination to reenact scenes that Harry Potter fans have come to love.

Customer reviews

To those of you who will read the reviews posted here, I just have to say these people are insane. First, the descriptions from Book Depository are here for some reason: TO BE READ. You can read there that it is a assemble-your-own wand, so there's no reason to be surprised that it comes in three parts, only if you are empty headed enough not to have read the description beforehand.

Second, for 5 euros you expect a wood wand? You have got to be kidding me. Did you also expect it to be carefully sculpted by a dedicated woodworker? It obviously is plastic and it's stupid to suggest people to buy the one from Noble Collection, that retails for 50 euros. it only makes sense to buy that one if you are a collector and want to put it on display. Not if you want to give some 5 euros junk to your kid that he/she can wreck without a heavy conscience. Also, the one from TNC is resin, you idiots. You didn't read the description again.

Thirdly, you thought it was a big box? Hahaha. It's a square box and the wand OBVIOUSLY can't fit there. You also have the box dimensions available here, so it's YOU'RE OWN STUPIDITY FAULT if you're surprised.

It's absolutely unfair to blame The Book Depository for your own inability to READ THE F*****G descriptions.

I don't know what the Book Depostiory was thinking when they put this up for sale. When I saw the picture I thought in would be a big box. It came in three parts in a tiny box. The stickers were good but the wand is rubbish. It within five of it being put together. You can see where the parts join together, making it look false. It is painted sloppily and is shorter and skinnier then the real thing. My Mum's friend went to America. She went to Harry Potter world and bought Harry's wand for me. It was an exact replica of the prop in movie. If you can't go to Harry potter world then try Universal Orlando Resort website and order it. It is much better quality and defintly worth the money.

For all those who thought that buying of this wand would be great thing, don't do it. First of all it's not even made of wood- Cheap plastic instead... It's sloppy painted, and all in all looks cheaper than it actually is. For all those who would like to get real HP want, check out Noble collection on Amazon, although it's 10 time more expensive, You'll get what You really want- Wooden magic wand.
