Renowned photographer Derry Brabbs followed and shot the wall, producing one of the year's most beautiful illustrated books. Waterstone's Books Quarterly Hadrian's Wall...is one of the world's most evocative monuments. These pictures communicate something of its special presence. Cumberland News Travelling the length and breadth of the route a number of times, Brabbs has produced a stunning photographic essay of the wall in all seasons which would make anyone with even half a soul reach for their walking boots and rucksack immediately. Daily Mail A delightful lightweight hardback coffee-table book about the famous wall, filled with evocative colour plates. Spectator This is a perfect book for tourists and backpacking photographers looking to traverse the ruins. Amateur Photographer This book is lavishly illustrated by a stunning portfolio of atmospheric pictures by the author Derry Brabbs. Anyone with the faintest interest in the wall will be captivated by the images and sucked into reading about its history and the places it passes through. A perfect taster for anyone wishing to walk its length on the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail. Westmorland Gazette
