DescriptionThe novel that served as a starting point for the Beat Generation, "Go "collects the vicissitudes of John Clellon Holmes with his friends Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and Neal Cassady in New York during the late 1940s. This tale of drugs, jazz, sex, and streets proves that the Beat Generation invented a lifestyle as well as a revolutionary literature and perspective.
