Short Description for Go the F**k to Sleep Go the Fuck to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don't always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland. Fantastic, but use discretion5

Jurgen Stipplington Disregarding the humour, this is such a lovely book. The illustrations are sublime, and so colourful. It's almost a shame you really can't show it to kids. Well, if they can't read I guess you could..

As for the story itself, I don't have kids and I can distinctly remember having these fights with my parents at bedtime. I want a glass of water, I want to watch tv, I need another story, the light is too bright, it's too dark, say goodnight to my dollies again, I need my purple bear.. et cetera. So, I can totally sympathize with how much they wanted us to go the f*ck to sleep.

If you are giving it as a gift, be careful. Some people just have no sense of humour. A look through the comments on news sites whenever this book comes up has some hysterical losers comparing it with "child abuse". So, make sure you really know your friend's sense of humour before gifting it - and know that baby hormones can rob even your funniest friends of their ability to take a joke. So, tread carefully. by Jurgen Stipplington
