    Colourful and informative5

    Mrs Lucy A Robinson A Gift of Gracias has been a lovely story to dig into as my 8 yr old begins to learn Spanish.. although only a few Spanish words are included in this story from the Dominican Republic, it is lovely to see them incorporated so naturally into this tale. The artwork is beautiful, and I am so pleased we have this in our home library. Originally suggested to me through the "Catholic Mosaic" I have found it useful whenever we are exploring aspects of Marian history and devotion, as well as complementing the Guadalupe story. There are many parallels between the two. I would highly recommend this as a gift for a first communion or to include in your own family collection. by Mrs Lucy A Robinson
