    Esther Allen Why hasn't this book won an award? The illustrations are fantastic! - Superb artwork, beautifully coloured. The storyline is unique - a boy awakes to find he has shrunk, he also finds his parents have gone out (not realistic but is needed for the story) and left him a note telling him what to do while they are gone. The pictures are what really tell the story as you see the boy accomplish everything on the list - much inguenuity needed because of his new size. I especially like how he takes the garbage out. All the while he needs to avoid the family cat - now his enemy!
    This book is excellent for a non-reader to "read" on their own as the pictures tell the story. by Esther Allen
