Reviews for A Game of Thrones
outstanding
I don't know whether I get my paperback on time, I have already read for about 30 per cents of the book using my phone.
If you are hesitating whether it is worth it or not - IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!
My English level is Intermediate, but I've got a challenge to read the book in the original language. It is incredibly hard, because of tremendous diversity of new words I have never seen. I am even happy stretching time for my pleasure of reading the book, because of a lack of the language. :P
Hopefully, I am going to finish the book in a fortnight!
p.s. I have already bought the second book! :) by Dmitry RotenbergRaw!!
Borrowed this from library 3 years ago and just HAD to have my own copy! Characters are realistic, the action is raw, the plot - complex. I'm already waiting for Book 6! Own it in book form, not e-reader, it's just not the same on e-format. by Gail Chan

One of the best works of modern fantasy I have ever had the pleasure to read. From the very beginning, Martin's very specific style of writing - raw, dark, cynical - makes you devour page after page, always wondering what is going to happen on the next page. Some characters you'll love, some you'll hate, some you'd wish they die - but you'll going to want to read more about each and every one of them. Not only does every character have very specific nature, but the story very well connects the enire "crew" so that even though you don't like one of the characters, you want to know what's happening around him. by Martin Hasak

I am down to the last few chapters of the 1st Book The Game of Thrones and am planning to finish it today. It is an excellent book that leads you into a fantasy world. I have been moved by the plight of the characters and enjoyed the many twists and turns in the story line. As others have quoted I have lost sleep, meals and time with friends to finish reading this book but its all been worth it. Now I just need the rest of the series to arrive !! by Lisa McDonald

I am really enthused after reading this book. It is the best fantasy I've ever read. My only objection to this series is that at this time, on Jan 20th 2011, the series hasn't been completed! Bear that in mind, in case you want to start reading and you find yourself having finished the fourth book and will be waiting for a long time for the next! by Thanassis Roumpies

Best fantasy writer ever
This series of books is the best fantasy series I have ever read. It is smart, origional and so well written. But I will warn you that these books are very hard to put down, I have lost so much sleep staying up to read these books, it's not funny. by Alan Kirwan
