A hot water bottle for the heart!5

Natasha Tomic Rarely does a book leave such an impact on me but I couldn't get this story out of my head for days. The writer really took his time to develop the characters thoughtfully and responsibly, and you are left with the feeling that you know these people, understand the reasoning behind their actions and you finish their story hungry for more. It is simply a BEAUTIFUL love story between two flawed people (aren't we all?!) who seek redemption and a chance at happiness. I was overwhelmed by how well the theme of forgiveness was developed throughout the book, it made me truly consider my own choices in life and hope for more. This is a story of two people who love each other body and soul, who offer each other solace and comfort, but above all unconditional love. Their love story is somewhat inspired by the love that Dante felt for Beatrice, which the authors once described as a love matching "the fire of a thousand suns". The references to Dante's Inferno are not heavy or hard to follow for non-fans of the genre; they simply thread a backdrop to a love story that is somehow timeless. Please do yourself a favour and read this beautiful book - it will leave you breathless at first, but it will warm your soul for quite some time after you finish reading it. It's one of those stories that makes you want to close your eyes and dream of a "what if...". by Natasha Tomic
