She was just a girl, standing in front of a boy ...wishing he looked more like Hugh Grant. Scarlett loves the movies. But does she love sensible fiance David just as much? With a big white wedding on the horizon, Scarlett really should have decided by now ...When she has the chance to house-sit in Notting Hill - the setting of one of her favourite movies - Scarlett jumps at the chance. But living life like a movie is trickier than it seems, especially when her new neighbour Sean is so irritating. And so irritatingly handsome, too. Scarlett soon finds herself starring in a romantic comedy of her very own: but who will end up as the leading man?

Scarlett is convinced that life can be as great and exciting as her favourite movies and decides to prove that to her family and friends.
A great book for every girl that likes romantic movies and has seen all the "classics" more than once.
If you don't know who is Mark Darcy, why Notting Hill is so important or what are the movies that Hugh Grant starred in I advise you to take some time and see the movies before reading the book. I guarantee you will enjoy it more.

Definatly a five star book from me.
Sparky, fun and endearing Katie Fforde An endearing, romantic and fun read for chick-lit (and rom com!) fans Closer Utterly enjoyable Stylist If you love your rom coms and know your Mark Darcy from your Daniel Cleaver then you're going to adore this Carole Matthews As adorable as a Richard Curtis movie, as funny as that Welsh bloke in the baggy grey pants, this romantic comedy is the perfect way to pass a winter afternoon should Johnny Depp be unavailable Daily Record Joyous and carefree, a souffle of a book that will lift the spirits of anybody who ever daydreamed about a different, more glam life Bernadette Strachan The book is a great read and I devoured it in two days, I was unable to put it down, I had to read on. I was laughing and crying with the characters and at times shouting out... The author's love of the films came through in the writing ... they were cleverly woven into the story and did not distract from the storyline at all ... I recommend it to all chick lit and chick flick fans alike Sarah Broadhurst, sbroadhurstreviews.blogspot.com
