Customer reviews

Foundation is the first book in the Foundation series and is one of the most famous science fiction books. The story is set far into the future, in the time when the Galactic Empire is falling. The book deals with the forming of the Foundation, its developement and it's dealing with the crises that threaten to destroy it. The book is very good. The idea for the story is interesting and I like the ways Foundation solves all the crises that threaten it. One minus is that the story is somewhat like: foundation develops, then it faces a crises, then it solves the crises, then it develops, then it faces a crises, then ... which makes it a bit predictable but it's still worth reading. After you read this book you should also read Foundation and Empire.show more
