Fever
I had been eagerly awaiting the release of Fever, being a big fan of Flu and Drop Dead Gorgeous, and i haven't been disappointed. Once again Wayne Simmons has given us a great, non stop action zombie novel that is relentless from start to finish.
The story centres on the outbreak of a virus which in true zombie tradition wipes out a lot of humans and creates hordes of zombies (which really is want we all want in a zombie novel), and the plight of several groups of people that all tie together in the end.
Simmons has a knack of writing great, believable characters that are very easy to like (or hate if they are the bad guys), and unlike some authors, don't expect everyone to survive.
All in all, a very enjoyable read and a great addition to the zombie fiction genre that has become quite popular over the years. I highly recommend it. by Stuart Prickett
