Editorial reviews

A change from 'coffee table' feng shui books, this straightforward little paperback compensates for its lack of colour illustrations by its fascinating writing style, crammed with anecdotes and soundbites ('mirrors are the asprin of feng shui'). The author is a feng shui consultant from New Jersey who studies with the famous Honk Kong practitioner Professor Lin Yun. Her voluminous history of the origins and oriental practices of feng shui illuminate instructions on using its beneficial influences in the modern urban environment. 'I don't know how or why it operates', she admits, '... but I've seen marriages saved, careers made, and restaurants prosper ... I can testify that it works'. (Kirkus UK)
