DescriptionAs featured in the first year set texts reading list in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an extensive introduction to the magical beasts that exist in the magical, non-Muggle world. Some of the animals featured in the A-Z you will have already met in the existing Harry Potter books: for example Hippogriff, Flobberworm, Kappa - others you certainly won't: read on to find out exactly what a Chizpurfle is, or why one should always beware of the sinister Lethifold ...As Albus Dumbledore says in his introduction, this set text book by Newt Scamander has given the perfect grounding to many a Hogwarts student. It will be helpful to all Muggles out there too ...On reading the book you will also find that Harry, Ron and (in one instance) Hermione - couldn't resist grafittiing the book, and adding their own personal hand-written opinions.

  • Made me smile :)5

Nina Midtsian Harmens Such a sweet and interesting book. Definitely an uplifting read that can be useful after reading something depressing or a bit heavy. Made me smile several times, and just thinking about it gets me in a better mood. There is no doubt that I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the Harry Potter series. :) by Nina Midtsian Harmens

    Fantastic book!5

Nikola Ilic This is undoubtedly my favorite HP book, beside HP 1-7. It contains extraordinary introduction written by Newt Scamander, and it gives brief look of the history of relation between wizards and magical creatures. Then we have magnificent A-Z description of 75 creatures, and each one will amuse You, I can guarantee that! One more full strike by J.K., hope she'll make some more of this, I'll be first in line to buy it! by Nikola Ilic
