Reviews for The Exile
I loved it!
I couldn't wait to read this Graphic Novel - I'd read all about it on Diana Gabaldon's website - and I wasn't disappointed at all! It was exactly as Diana had described. I loved seeing my favourite novel in a different format - plus there were extra "tidbits" in the story that weren't in the original novel ie. viewpoints from minor characters. Perhaps this format is not everyone's "cup of tea", but it clearly states Graphic Novel on the cover. by Christine S
The Exile
As a great fan of the 'Outlander Series' I have to agree with Julie Wood.
It was not what I had expected. I'm glad I got it from the library first and didn't buy it. I knew it said illustrated, but I did not expect a comic book, I thought the illustrations were awful.
If this was the first "Outlander' book that you had seen, you would not read the other 7 beautiful books. by Margaret Wrigley- Top review
Read the details
An author hardly deserves 2 stars simply because a buyer does not do her research properly. Unfair and unwarranted remarks. Blame yourself not the store or author for your failure to read or understand things clearly!
I loved the graphic novel. by LORETTA KELLY Unexpected format
I was quite disappointed, as I didn't realise that this was a graphic novel. I saw a new title by a beloved author and ordered it. While this information can be found in the information, it's not in the description at all. Not what I was hoping for, and I will certainly be unable to use this as a present, as intended. by Julie Wood
