A good but hard to read book
This book is quite hard to read.... because I read books at night I would read two pages then fall asleep! However a lot of what Dr Dukan says really makes sense.
He makes you think about how your body worked before processed foods were introduced. E.g. hunters and gatherers. Eating lots of proteins and vegetables.
The BEST thing about this diet is that you dont need to starve yourself. You can eat as much as you want, as long as it is in the list of 100 foods that you are allowed to eat.
He says counting calories works, but is not realistic for long term weight loss. The introduction of "celebration meals" means you still feel human and can eat without feeling deprived, as a lot of people eat emotionally. by Katunder review - Staff review
Detailed
This book explains the Dukan Diet in great detail. It's perfect to know what is all about and to follow it properly.
I have done this and lost 15kgs in a couple of months. Took some will power, but I managed and I haven't gained them back! But again, it's really important to read the book, understand what it says and specially WHY. by Abigail E.under review
