Author information

Paul Kupperberg has written many books for kids, like Wishbone: The Sirian Conspiracy, Powerpuff Girls: Buttercup's Terrible Temper Tantrums, and Hey, Sophie! Paul has also written over 600 comic book stories starring Superman, the Justice League, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Simpsons, Archie and Jughead, Scooby Doo, and many, many others Paul's own character creations include Arion: Lord of Atlantis, Checkmate, and Takion. He has also been an editor for DC Comics, Weekly World News, and World Wrestling Entertainment. Martin Pasko has been working as a writer and editor in comics and television for many years, working on shows such as Roseanne, The Twilight Zone, and Max Headroom. Pasko has helped translate many comics into television series, including Batman: The Animated Series, for which he won a 1993 Daytime Emmy. He has also written Superman in many media, including TV animation and webisodes, as well as comics. He lives outside Manhattan with his wife, Judith, and their daughter, Laura. Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where, in his youth, he wrote stories about robots conquering the Moon and trolls lumbering around in the woods behind his parent's house - and the fact that the trolls were hunting for little boys had nothing to do with Blake's pesky younger brothers. Later, he moved to Minnesota to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Since graduating, Blake has written more than forty books for children, including retellings of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and the Perseus and Medusa myth. Most recently, he's working on graphic novels for Sports Illustrated Kids and writing stories about superheroes.
