Lots of cute and fun projects in this book, although nothing out of the ordinary. Like many sewing books, this one includes tutorials for creating various bags, pillows, runners, cozies, as well as a stuffed doll, pincushion, bunting, book cover and picture frame. What makes this book a little different is the twist to some of the projects: appliques and embellishments like embroidery, yo-yos and cathedral window patches. The final products are all very pretty and make nice things for the home or presents to give away. Some pluses: there are 35 projects in the book and templates for some applique patterns are included at the back. Some of the projects are also easy to make and don't require too much time to sew.
