One of the most expensive books I ordered online. I am super happy with it. Leather bound, good trimmed pages and interesting stories I can't put it down... a book I plan to treasure for years to come... Worth every penny :)show more

The book looks amazing, and the quality is top-notch. It has that leathery smell, and the gold trim looks impressive. I am very pleased with it, it's just as I expected it to be. (Also the back of book is very beautiful too)show more

It is of course wonderful to have every Holmes story penned by Doyle in one volume, and the cover and layouts are all very handsome. The one reservation that I have is that the gold edging on the pages has been rather cheaply done, which means that the pages were initially all stuck together. I had to flip through every page before they would even turn properly, and the result was that gold dust went everywhere. I rubbed my fingers down the gold surface and they came away gold. It seems to have stabilised now, and I'm enjoying the tales as much as I ever have, but it was a disappointing start.show more
