One glorious book
You know how it feels when you find that book that feels like you've just found the holy grail?
This is one of those books. This is information that is a must have to any artists if you're serious about learning what truly is needed to learn about painting or rendering truly good images with color and volume.

While the book seems to be mainly directed at traditional painters (me being digital) I find the break down of different light types and applications of colors quite helpful. by Katarzyna Zalecka
