The title is Christmas with Gordon, but I expected this book to contain more traditional recipes. A lot of his recipes were obviously influenced by his stay in Italy but I, being a UK ex pat now living in Italy, was even rather disappointed by his Italian influenced cuisine. Those dishes (especially the Italian-ish trifle) wouldn't go down well,here.
Beside that, I did appreciate the recipes for Beef Wellington and Mince pies.
I'm glad that I purchased this book in the sale.
