Amazing
Being an architect and photographer, this book meets the best of both worlds. The Case Study Program was an architectural solution for post-war living, fast construction with great design, and new materials (most of them came from aircraft industry).
Julius Shulman's photography is the cherry on top, amazing pictures, great ambiance, his work on black and white on the first houses, and the introduction of color in the latest is brilliant. He started using people in the picture, so the house was "lived" instead of the void images of architecture.
