This book is more of a "pretty, flick through and think about it" kind of decorating book. The list of tools and precise cutters required to make any of the designs means I will probably never use this book which is a shame as some of the designs really are beautiful.
Each design has clearly been limited to the number of steps and pages allowed which means some of the steps are glossed over too quickly.
Wish I'd bought her other book "The Contemporary Cake Decorator's bible" as this seems to have some good reviews.

Includes lots of details about the very basics and explains in detail and with pictures. Also includes stencils and patterns. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get into cake decorating without any professional training.
