Reviews for The Boys' Book
Disappointed
I was keen to give this book to a young friend, that is, until I received it in the mail. I was disappointed to find that unlike the books such as "A Dangerous Book for Boys"; in THIS book the sketches/artwork were what I would call grotesque and unappealing.
Also I found some of the projects were not things that I would be encouraging my son/boys to do ... as several were far from noble. A few examples are:
"How to insult someone and get away with it" or
"How to annoy your Brothers and Sisters" or
"How to spook your family" etc.
I wish I hadn't spent money on this book. Though there ARE some lovely and good ideas throughout, yet it didn't outweigh the negatives for me. by Third Oak
