    Benoit This is a well written book, which is more than a cook book. It attempts, and mostly succeeds, in telling the story of the eponymous restaurant through the story of Polish struggle and migration, and the story of vodka itself. Though some of the recipes are very time consuming and the vodka unavailable, it seems as much an homage to the food and drink of Poland as it is a practical guide, though it may serve as both. All in all, a good read. by Benoit
