Corbin Blue is the star quarterback for the Strikers, a team in the National Otherworld Football League. He has as a secret. He is a lethal black ops agent. The stunning playboy uses his looks and talent as his cover.

Evangaline (Evie) Black is the daughter of Michael Black; owner of the Strikers and head of the black ops team. Evie gave up being a black ops agent when a tragedy stuck, and her sister died. She gets her degree and becomes a doctor, leaving the agency behind.

Corbin and Evie have hated each other for years, but now they are forced into a mission together where they can trust no one else; as they get to really know one another their feeling for each other begins to change.

Black and Blue is an exciting action packed story. This thrilling supernatural spy novel will have your attention from start to finish.

I love the mental side comments that Corbin and Evie make when talking to each other. It is definitely humorous and will keep you laughing. I also love Evieรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’รƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’ฦ’โ€šรƒฦ’โ€šรƒโ€šร‚ยขโ‚ฌโ„ขs James Bond-like weapons and her purse arsenal. I really enjoyed reading Black and Blue, I found the storyline compelling and the characters pulling you deeper and deeper within in the pages.

Corbin Blue better known as 'Blue' plays his cover well as the charismatic playboy footballer with the enormous ego. Many say he is dangerous to a woman's heart but those who know him would say they have no idea how dangerous he really is!

Evangeline Black has always held her own and relied only on herself but sometimes that come with a price and Evangeline has paid immensely.

Blue works for Michael Black, he is a trained assassin and infiltrator and along with Solo and John they are caught in a bomb attack on Michael's home. When Blue comes too he knows he needs to find Michael, Solo and John but they are nowhere in the house. Not knowing who he can trust or if the people responsible know he survived Blue has to find somewhere safe.
Evie is determined to see if her father is alive when she turns up at his house but no one is letting her in or telling her anything. Not growing up with her father had been hard but Evie had trained with him and had worked as one of his assassins until the death of someone close to her forced her to leave.

When Evie returns home she finds the last person she expects to see waiting for her Corbin Blue! and if they are to find her father and the others they will need to do it as a team. As adrenaline rises and time becomes of the essence Blue and Evie will need to trust each other more than ever if they are to succeed because Evie won't lose someone she loves again.

I look forward to reading the next book in the Otherworld Assassins and would recommend this series to lovers of this genre.
