  I bought this book because of the beautiful edgings shown on the cover. The book was interesting, well-photographed, and the instructions for projects were clear, BUT I was very disappointed to discover that the cover art was not represented in the projects inside. The cover examples proved to be photographs of the author's own collection of vintage cultural textiles, and while interesting, it seemed misleading at the least that these should be on the cover of an instruction book, and yet no instructions to recreate them were part of the contents. Ultimately, I am not sorry for the purchase, but I am not as happy as I wanted to be. by Nola Smith
